This is the one I'm most excited about! I'm probably going to double size it and do it on "real" canvas.

So that we will be ready to paint, please prepare the following. (Julian, I know you are traveling, so would you like us to prep these items for you?)
Pay for your "seat" for Paint Week here. You don't absolutely need it, because I have everything for you. But it's important to me to support Ali's business. It's only $10 US!
This is the Paint Week Portal with all the info.
Join the Facebook Group here (optional). Not at all necessary - montly newbies asking the same questions repeatedly. But fun to see where everyon is from and see the variety of paintings.
Assemble your paint. I have some, but possibly not enough. Ali only uses 9 colors: 🎨 Payne's Gray 🎨 Alizarin Crimson 🎨 Quinacridone Magenta 🎨 Naphthol Red Light 🎨 Hansa Yello Opaque 🎨 Phthalo Green 🎨 Phthalo Blue 🎨 Burnt Umber Light 🎨 Titanium White She prefers Golden Fluid Acrylics, but they are too costly for…

Hey there! As some of you know, I'm a huge fan of artist Ali Kay. Next week is one of her super affordable Paint Weeks that really digs in to her loose, simple technique.
The lessons are live each day around noon. However, the recordings are available for replay later in the day and until 5 October. My preference is to watch the replays so I can start and stop as I like. I like zooming in on elements at times, too.
Also, I will do a few lessons over 2-3 days rather than one per week. I thought we could do two sessions at our house - any two days from Friday, 1 OCT through Monday, 5 OCT. Maybe 2 - 4 pm? (My studio is air conditioned.) Here's the link. If you want to participate, please register with Ali - it's only $10 US and you will get th…

Welcome! Please join us for "paint alongs" with video lessons from artists like Ali Kay and others.
Julian says: "We come back October 1st. We don’t get home till 5 or 6pm. Friday and Monday I will have ceramics. Saturday I have painting class till noon, but I should be able to do 2-4pm." Is that going to be too much for you , Julian? Is this a good day/time for you, Van? BTW, I'm not inviting anyone else because space in my casita is limited! But it has a big TV to watch the videos and air conditioning! Also, bring swim trunks and we will have a swim and cocktails later - husbands are optional!
